Probably, he was a 1 time asset. The Paks wanted it, they spied on us, we made no secret of his identity, someone was paid-off, etc...
He was never in "the circle" so never given any consideration.....we are so well represented.
Since it is election time, I will add a disclaimer: I am definitely not blaming President Obama. Maybe it is the long established "culture"
(in "politics"
that encourages this attitude, or just a "because I can" outlook.....
"Paks" is referring to TPTB in Pakistan.
