YES - I have been saying that for a while now. Not only should cops not be getting away with horrible crimes, as they have been forever, but they should be vigorously prosecuted. And if convicted, the usual sentence should be doubled or tripled - these people are hired to serve the public, and are paid with taxpayer dollars. A criminal cop's betrayal of the public trust is huge, and should be punished as such.
