THAT was from almost a year ago, in a Foreign Policy journal article: "Lindsey Graham: Wrong on Everything. The senator from the great state of South Carolina is considering a run for president, based on his foreign-policy prowess. Yikes." I wonder if the author doesn't now think this particular fear-monger, too moderate for the GOP base, actually looked pretty good compared to the rest of the lineup?

"I believe that if we get Syria wrong, within six months—and you can quote me on this, there will be a war between Iran and Israel over their nuclear program." Senator Graham in September 2013 as he explained that President Obama WAS doing everything wrong.

"Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, Al Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula…Everything that starts with 'Al' in the Middle East is bad news" —May 3, 2015, while delivering the keynote speech at an American-Israel Public Affairs Coalition event.

Good riddance to one of the GOP lineup's best.
