Oil and gas industry, insurance companies will NOT cover earthquake damage. So no point in adding earthquake coverage to your homeowner's policy. To add icing to the cake, a month or two two back I got a notice from my CAR insurance company that they also will not cover earthquake damage due to "activities of the oil and natural gas industry" or similar language.

Oh, but I'm sure it will be real easy to file a claim with the fucking frackers when your chimney falls off or your house is cleaved in two, and they will be happy to pay for the damage...
