but if you're in a foreign country and don't make an effort at all to learn the language it's isolating and depressing. There is no way to integrate unless you learn the language. Especially if you've been there for years and years. I have to disagree with the previous posters.

I live in a foreign country and if I could get free lessons, I would have started already. Please try to understand this point. Free is what works. This is a very generous offer by the government.
