I can especially relate to the line "February made me shiver, with every paper I'd deliver..."
The absolute worst day I had as a paperboy was on a cold Sunday morning in February, when it was too slippery to ride my bicycle and the newspaper had a huge special edition to boot, so I had to make two trips to deliver all my papers, on foot. And while I was listening to my portable transistor radio to take my mind off my increasingly frozen feet, that was one of the songs that was played.
