and is a typical white privilege response. My parents were born in 1924 & 1930 and grew up under Roosevelt and gave me a clue. A. Philip Randolph's repeated threats and engagement with Roosevelt eventually lead to that EO but not much else. The military and much of the rest of the country remained segregated and FDR wasn't about to budge. I.e., there is so much fantasy going on about FDR that it is truly remarkable.
Try to at least do some research before attempting to write about something that you are apparently ignorant about. Thankfully next month is Black History Month and perhaps you can learn something.
