It started right out of the gate!
He was Prez for only days and hadn't enacted anything and they were already carrying guns to rallies and had depictions of water mellons in front of the White House and a bone in Obama's nose. Hell they were complaining he wasn't even an American at the inauguration and hadn't done ANYTHING yet, but be (1/2)black.
And, just a minor point.... Sarah Palin is not PRESIDENT of the country these people are citizens of. She's an opportunist TV personality. Who cares what anyone says about her? She means nothing.

The SPLC was tracking 149 hate groups when President Obama was elected, the number has grown to 824.
