11. Perhaps a rough night ahead for refuge holdouts in tent. Forecast: up to 3 inches of snow, freezing

Indictment to be sealed in the morning may name the four occupants, which would mean there may be arrests before then. If the occupants art indicted, will the situation get resolved before they find out.

David Shapiro @davidrshapiro @LesZaitz please explain to a lay person what is the point of a sealed indictment?

Often, it allows US marshals to effect arrests before people learn they are indicted. Not sure intent in this case.

so, what i haven't been telling y'all is for the past 36 hours i've been in communication with the militants at the refuge 1/5
i've called every four hours -- most of these conversations have been short. 2/5
the FBI was concerned about the militants poisoning themselves because they were sleeping in their cars with their engines on 3/5
they're not doing that anymore -- they're also not talking with anyone. I was called about fifteen minutes ago by an unknown number 4/5
and told that as of 12:50, there would be no more external communications -- meaning i can't call in. I was not able to reach them at 1:30.

Note the timing. The refuge was cut off before the indictments were announced, barely.
