This video was an indication of what has been a life-long problem for the progressive movement... It is not just this economy, although it has certainly been whipped up since the end of the 1980's BY what has degraded into a service-based future in many American's "job pool".

When you get far less than the "American Dream" and you're local community's culture blames the working poor or unemployed, or homeless, or has been driven by stead diets of Rush Limbaugh and his ilk to hate social service budgets, or jobs that are disappearing, YOU'LL HAVE THIS!

We are much the wiser after a steady diet of unfair reporting and the buying of the people's airwaves. There is no more balance in presenting more than corporately controlled right wing talk (alternative found only on the internets)

I've lived around Southern ignoramus bullshit, but it is NOT relegated solely to "deep south" only. She will realize eventually that it continues to thrive well in places throughout my commonwealth of PA (see South Poverty Law Center's map of hate-based groups, PA is certainly represented).

Welcome to the current state of pitting one person against the other, which has always been the way of the corporate state. Pit person against person, and you'll effectively control the hustings.

I want to give her a big hug. I also want her to realize that the enormous amount of damage aimed at how American's got their news and what choices were left in skilled labor helped bring this about.

Dear young woman: Continue to hear it, thank them for their time, hang up and move on. I hear the call of the TrumpETTS myself when talking to some of those South Carolinians, but I SEE it in PA when they pass my car (Bernie sticker) with a big ass Rebel Flag, shaved heads aglow with massive ignorance.

I've lost friendships over to the call of the TrumpETTS. Let's meet them with clarity and an understanding of history from this point, my dear young woman.
