Which is the last thing we need from any elected official, and he has set the bar so low that the others seem to be responding in kind. If President Obama, whose temperament continues to impress and amaze me, is getting such obstruction from this miserable Congress, what would happen if they faced the likes of Trump, let alone on the world stage???

I probably already told you, but I went to the USSR with my grandmother in 1986 because she was part of a visiting peace group. At that time, there were delicate negotiations between Gorbachev and Reagan and the Russian people I spoke with were pretty scared of Reagan, thought he was being way too tough with Gorbachev who was trying to institute some reforms. With Putin, who is a KGB throwback, I can't imagine what could happen if we elected any Republican, let alone a bully loudmouth like Trump!
