i was trying to explain the death to israel thing and wiping out of jews from the middle east to a family friend once. She was very interested in learning about iran and felt that iran got bad press and she was being super nice to me because i guess she thought i would be supportive of the regime in iran or something but of course i hate them so it never bothers me when someone is critical of the gov there.

but anyway i was trying to tell her that irans leaders had every intention in the world if they ever got the chance to destroy israel. and she responded with no that its not true that if you listen to the original transaction its only symbolic and they only mean in a political symbolic way..

i was shocked.. i was like you know i can read and write farsi write? there is nothing symbolic about this there tone of language and how they say the words means without question they would destroy israel the first chance they got.. but the family friend was insistent that it was just a mis understanding.. i was truly shocked..
