He's trying to trivialize Iran's repeated threats to destroy Israel by equating them to lingering Scottish resentment of England. Looks to me like he has personal issues with both and can't tell the difference - or thinks we're dumb enough not to.

Plus he's attacking two posters in this thread for things other people said in another thread - see post #24.
