It already did. The Democrativ Party long ago was infiltrated by 3rd way neoliberal Republicans lite. Obama and stupid compromise, zero Wall Street accountability and endless war are the result. The coup is complete if Hillary wins. The outcome is Middle class death for certain and what the powers that be think is perpetual oligarchy. But they are wrong .....

Dems have a choice. Go hard progressive with Bernie and resuscitate the party OR watch the party die as a new one, the party that Bernie's successors create amongst pissed off Dems, Indies, and areligious republicans blows off the doors starting in 2018 and beyond.

The status quo sucks balls if you are making less than 200k. And millions under that threshold from left to right every day realize they have been lied to all their life. Boomers die off and millennial non tv watching replacements accelerate the process.

The GOP is already dead and the Democratic Party is near death. Just that neither know it.
