(83 posts)I love Bernie. He is my senator. He has been a senator for a long time and knows the ropes. He voted against the Iraq war - which is a ++. Hillary has been in the trenches a long time. First she had to realize her Republican family was in the wrong and switch to the Democrat party - not something one does lightly. She has worked hard - for healthcare, for equal rights, as Secretary of State and she knows what to expect from the opposition because she has fought against it. She thought she had the nomination last time, but Obama swept it up, negating her super delegates and coming out on top. The same thing is happening now - with Bernie. This is basically her last chance. She stuck by her man and continues to be condemned for it (although Bill seems to get off scot-free). I'm sorry, but I want to hand her the nomination - she handled the Benghazi hearings expertly, like a President - patiently but with an undertone of sarcasm (which it deserved for it's obvious attempts to scapegoat her). As Secretary of State she has learned things that Bernie would need some time to pick up. She is ready out-of-the-box. She is SMART. She will make a great president. She deserves the presidency.
