that he was an anomaly. I think this may have partly been why the 2 never performed together or were seen together (outside of one event honoring James Brown). I remember Graham Central Station (Larry's group) while in high school and had friends who were JW (there were 2 Kingdom Halls within a couple miles of where I live)... There are many still out on the street handing out Watchtower magazines. But then I live not far from a Krishna Temple too and they used to be out and about (not so much anymore after the complaints in the neighborhood)...
