73. Here's the thing. HRC will need the votes of Sanders

supporters in the GE. Releasing the transcripts gives her an opportunity to show that it was all much ado about nothing. By not releasing them, it makes it seem as if she's hiding something because SHE'S HIDING SOMETHING! So, if she wants to win the GE, she cannot afford to alienate anyone. She cannot ignore the fact that many people consider her untrustworthy by continuing to hide the transcripts.

I am a Sanders supporter, but I acknowledge that his chances to go into the convention with enough delegates is difficult if not impossible. That being said, given the choice between Clinton and Trump, some of them will stay home. The question is how many? Releasing the transcripts could make her appear more trustworthy and would give her the opportunity to secure the votes of those Sanders supporters.
