(24,692 posts)14. I don't think generals and admirals get to make policy, at least I hope ours don't.
We will take action "...if they threaten ..." our country is military policy in every country. It is not surprising that is Iranian policy too, although it is interesting that they feel the need to announce a policy that everyone already knew existed.

That has been a known probable problem for years....we have a contingency plan.
