Assistant District Attorney Nicole Rimar asked that Scott Leader be sentenced to four to six years, due to his “troubling and significant record” with two prior convictions for assaults that are hate crimes. The older Leader attacked a Middle Eastern store employee after the Sept. 11 attacks, calling him a terrorist, and assaulted an Asian-American on Carson Beach, Rimar said.

The ADA asked that Steven Leader — whose record includes charges of assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery, resisting arrest, making threats, and drug charges — get three to four years.

Seems they have made a habit of assaulting people.
