Democratic Party since about 1980. We've got to get rid of the Third Way and get back to being the party of working class Americans (and YES they come in all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations and genders).

Remember what Lincoln said in the Gettysburg Address?

"...that a government of, by and for the people should not perish from the earth."

Wall Street isn't the people.
The Military Industrial Complex is not the people.
The National Security domestic spying apparatus is not the people.
Big pharma and health care insurance companies are not the people.
Multi-national corporations are not the people.

Hey, Third Way, have you forgotten us? Have you become so beholden to these greed-heads that you have forgotten that the main purpose of any government is to organize society around HUMAN NEED??? and not human greed???

Well, here we are. We have been here all along watching you get more and more corrupt. WE are the people. We who get up every morning and go to work and try real hard to get ahead on a playing field that got tilted against us many years ago. We want our tax money spent on stuff that actually makes our lives better. And we want corporations to PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE of taxes. We want healthcare as a basic right. We want higher education for our children as a basic right. We want more subsidies for child care, higher wages, better benefits and reasonable economic security. We want society organized around OUR needs, not the false corporate 'need' to eke out the uttermost farthing of profits on a pile of our bones.
