California Gov. Jerry Brown Endorses Hillary Clinton

64. Jerry was voted back in after the Schwarzenegger

clusterfuck when the state was in the financial toilet. By comparison, he's done a decent job with the budget. But the infrastructure still sucks. Education funding lags. Homelessness is not being addressed. The divide between the haves and have nots is huge. The cost of living is astronomical. Public college tuition is too high. Covered California, the state's ACA insurance exchange, is expensive and, from personal experience, pretty useless.

Brown is certainly not a progressive activist fighting to improve the everyday lives of ordinary Californians, so it's not surprising he'd endorse the moderate/center right candidate who has no bold ideas. California Democrats are by and large a progressive bunch who will ignore this, as they will ignore the rightwing rag LA Times Hillary endorsement. Bernie will win here next week.
