35. I'm in the 'deeds not words' universe with that guy.

He's a TALKER. And not even a good one. He doesn't unify people towards lofty goals, he denigrates and is crude--he demonizes and plays the Us Against Them game.

He can speechify, he can use vulgar language to get attention, he can dress absurdly, like a clown, so people will look at him, but that's no substitute for substantive lawmaking--not legislation that is already included in other bills (he introduces stand-alone bills that don't get considered, then takes credit when the OTHER bill that already included "his" idea passes-smoke and mirrors).

He calls people names, he waves his arms, he gets all dramatic, and he used to force his staffers to come on here and beg for money--this is one of the wealthiest men in Congress, begging for money.

When he wrote that fake "Daddy needs money" fundraising letter, ostensibly from his kid, that was enough to make anyone vomit. Hell, mommy needed money--she was making do on an EBT card with free school lunches for the kids because Daddy wasn't paying his support!

They tolerate a lot of individuality and quirkiness in the House. In the cooling saucer of the Senate, there are a hundred guys all of whom look in the mirror and see a future president. They expect a small measure of decorum. I'm with Harry Reid as regards this guy, who said, straight out to him "I want you to LOSE." We don't need an ethics-challenged Senator in a chamber we can flip.
