I just refuse to say never to "back woods justice" . There are times it is called for, and when we start putting morals in terms of "never" and "always" good people get hurt.
Too many people look to who broke the rules and bust them as if that's the only logical, reasonable course of action without ever thinking about the intent of the law or the situation a human being is in.....unless of course it's a police officer (but that's a whole different subject to discuss).
Examples? Are you really going support the arrest and charge a person who crossed a gun free zone in order to save school children under attack by a mass shooter? There are infinite scenarios in which good people break laws and engage in vigilante-ism.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone who would answer yes to that scenario needs to check into a mental institution promptly.
