A month or two ago, I would have said he absolutely wants to be president but there have been more and more stories coming out that make it sound like he isn't even trying win. I posted this elsewhere in this thread but this NBC article says that his campaign essentially doesn't exist. He doesn't have the hundreds or thousands of staffers and volunteers, and all of the machinery that takes a few years to get fully operational hasn't even been implemented yet. It is just Trump and a few people of his very inexperienced advisers running the entire thing. He could shut down his entire campaign by unplugging a webcam and canceling his office's landline service.

I still think it is more likely than not that he will keep flailing around like a fish on land until november when he finally just packs it in and goes home but I think the odds of him bailing before or right after the convention are getting better.
