'Twould be nice if "mainstream Christians" would focus on the words of Jesus and practice what he preached, but alas, those that do are few. Pity. His message of love and forgiveness and redemption is lost in the shuffle of ugly rhetoric lately, such as that pastor in Sacramento and other so-called ministers of the gospel who preach hatred and a total lack of compassion.
