Don't get me wrong, this is great!

I hope this isn't all she gets from that brilliant campaign! I was a soldier in the trenches full time for six years. In that time there was the Kerry campaign which, by all accounts was very conventional and remarkably unnoteworthy. Completely top down and heavily (too heavily) dependent on the party structure.

Then came the Obama campaign. They were happy to connect with party machinery but they were not dependent. They rolled into town, opened up their own office and ran their own campaign, working with local party organizations as a partner but completely autonomous. Brilliant.
