52. Labor Secretary Tom Perez

I disagree with Perez on the TPP
But, his resume is superb

- He investigated the Trayvon Martin shooting and launched a record number of probes into police practices.
- He sued Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona and challenged the state's immigration law in court.
- He extracted settlements from big banks and implemented new rules on financial advisors for retirement accounts (I want jail; time, but he wasn't attorney general so that likely wasn't his call)
- He helped extend overtime pay to 4.2 million workers and was an early advocate of the $15 minimum wage
- He helped create the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act and oversaw its first prosecutions
- He challenged voter ID laws in Texas and South Carolina.

He's young, he has been able to work with the republikkans on some issues, he's smart and he's dynamic
Being Hispanic helps

Kaine is dull, he supports banking deregulation and he was chairman of the DNC during the disaster that was 2019
Vilsack might have an inspiring biography, but Perez's is just as compelling

Tom Perez
