Remember clearly that the most important thing for the GOP is to get elected. Note also how little they actually address the nuts and bolts issues of governance. They care only about controlling the means of power. They have no vision for the future that includes any of the following:
... in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,...
Those sorts of things just don't compute in a republican head.
