As for the whistle blower classification, considering the proper channels were not followed I don't think the term is accurate for manning.(I will clarify this statement with that I fully support manning in regards to the information he released that involved war crimes or other criminal/corrupt acts. However I also feel that he should face the consequences of having released a large amount of classified information that had nothing to do with criminal or corrupt acts since in my eyes the release of former does not excuse the release of the latter.)
