them, and the three minutes at a crucial point are edited out, yes they are then standing outside of the taxi (the three minutes missing includes everything that would have shown what exactly happened in the taxi) and handing over money. They are also being held at gunpoint while they are sitting on the ground. This is why they are holding their hands up because they are being held at gunpoint.
As I said the Rio officials confirmed the gun, period. Yes Rio officials confirmed that the "security guard" had a gun and pointed that gun at the athletes. That is extortion. If this was ANY ATHLETE OTHER THAN LOCHTE NOBODY WOULD BE ARGUING THAT HE "deserved" this treatment.
