The elections were done in peace and tranquility in most of the country. Once more the electoral route is what we have chosen as a civilized, tolerant life among ourselves. The IFE has issued, and according to them, PENA Nieto, is ahead. If this is confirmed and once confirmed by the Tribunal of the Federation Pena Nieto will be the next President on December 1st. I promise to help his team in the transition of power.

He will have the solid base that we all have built. It is much that we have achieved, and please support he who will head the executive. I want to recognize each of the citizens that allowed for this to be an exercise of civility. To the more than one million who served at the polls, and the two million who served as party observers, and those who served as observers from Mexico and abroad.

I want to recognize all the candidates, in particular Lopez Mota and the rest of my party. They deserve my respect and my love. As President I have been guided by a democratic conviction, In the exercise of the public life I have worked in a country that is just, prosperous, and we all need to work for it.

The country has taken a decision, and we must respect the results, and if there are issues, take it to the courts. And if there are changes needed, go through the democratic and institutional route. The process should be done legally.

In democracy there are no permanent victories or defeats. This who wins is the people of Mexico, My government will support a peaceful and successful election. I will continue to work in my term to push for a better life and for the next administration that will start in the best way possible. We have proven that we once again are a democratic country.

We are a democratic nation among the nations. We need to continue to strengthen our democracy and we need to push for the progress of our loved Mexico.
