(5,929 posts)Jury nullification is legal. Having unpopular ideas is legal. So unless you have specific evidence that these anonymous jurors committed crimes, I suggest taking a step back and thinking about it. As I said already in this thread, we are a nation of laws.
There is a significant slice of this country with very different ideals than what we are used to. It showed up with the actions of these idiots invading the refuge, it showed up again with the verdict, and we are seeing it with Trump. Thankfully they are far from a majority, but sharing a country with these people is going to be a big ongoing challenge. I do not envy President Clinton in her task, as the only practical solution given their numbers is to try to reach out a hand and calm them somehow.
This fucking sucks, but it is the world we live in.
