We mostly follow each other on FB... and PMs and see each other when traveling..

Those 'closest' to these events live in..
Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic, South Korea, China, etc..

Their take on all this is really interesting, and actually a little varied...
They are much more detailed in their discussions, but to simplify it...

Putin is dangerous and is screwing the US, AND Russia..

The US does the same thing.. well, true..

The EU threatens Russia..

Russia is a threat to the entire world.

Most of these people are very, very aware of international events and politics.. WAY more than Americans..

I learn a great deal through these relationships.. I wish more Americans had such varied 'world' contacts to widen their sources of information...... even people here....
