They were in such a hurry to fill orders for the soundtrack back in 1977, and meet the huge demand, that one of the discs in the set has rough, untrimmed edges. I listened to that music over and over and over as a kid.
I have the soundtracks for all three films of the original trilogy, plus an out-takes disc, on a playlist on my iPod. It's playing on my office stereo even as I write this...

He was so funny RIP only 54 and. Fisher , 60 both heart issue they still had senior years coming !
