1. He was driving in a terrible accident that killed the wife of the mission president and injured him rather badly as well. I'd say that must have been terribly traumatic for him but...

2. He somehow managed to pin the blame on the priest who was driving the other car even though no tests were performed.

SO HOW THE HELL WOULD HE HAVE KNOWN?
