Indeed. And what exactly is it that Hillary did to the veterans? Does your friend even know?
I'm finding that - when you try to pin these folks down ("Could you tell me - just what IS it, exactly, that she did that you don't like? You're gonna have to help me out here..."
they can't.
WHICH TELLS YOU: THEY don't even know. They've just heard the smack talk and the accusations (all of which turn out to be false) and the lies (all of which can be proven as such) and the distortions (all of which can be proven as such) and the empty claims (all of which can be proven as such), but they don't bother tuning in or reading sources that DO prove these things as such.
If all they watch is Pox Noise, and all they pay attention to are people like Alex Jones and rush limbaugh and that-guy-whose-name-rhymes-with-Vanity, OF COURSE they're not going to know, or get, the truth. They get the sloganeering and the fast talking and the Gish Galloping of the Jodyanne Jerk-Me-Offs and see His Lordship's deceptive and outright mendacious tweets, and that's enough. Which means they're automatically ill-equipped to defend their "Lord and Master" in whom they've placed all their trust. Because, remember, he assured them that HE ALONE can fix it.
Besides, these folks are simplistic thinkers. They don't do nuance. They don't understand complexity. They want it all black-or-white rather than having to take into account all the 150-million shades of gray. Simple. All nice 'n' dumbed down. Especially if they've been educated at places like Liberty "University" and Regent "University" and other "Christian" institutions, or poorly-funded public schools where supports and programs and whole departments have been eliminated, or charter "schools" where the funding and CONservative sources of funding ALSO determine what's taught.
No wonder they all love - and totally get - his tweets. That's about as deep as their mentality is, anymore. Independent thinking isn't even in their "wheelhouse" (that fad framing word that started getting a lot of use not long ago). 140 characters and that's all you need, folks. No need for even a footnote.
