Lippert SAID that's what happened (wink wink) and there was one deceptive vid that *appeared* to back his story, so that's what the Brass went with ('thin blue line' and all).

But now that there's other video evidence out there, accurately showing the truth of the situation ... OOPS! That's just 'what they first believed'. Uh-huh. Got it.

I'm sure if the other video had never appeared, they would've been SURE to straighten out the actual truth of the situation. Just needed to give them 'time to investigate', don't you know?
