I only caught the last 10 minutes of the show, probably a good thing based on what I heard.

Towards the end, Rubio claimed that a T-shirt shop owner in Orlando, Fla with $200k in revenue would pay 35% income tax and maybe 41% due to ACA and other possible Obama initiatives. He rattled off something about all their expenses and how that's not much money.

Totally false statement. $200k revenue is not $200k owner profit. That owner's take-home is probably $50k or less due to cost of goods sold, staff payroll, rent and other expenses, which would likely put him/her in the 15% bracket and that won't be increasing. Unless they have 50+ employees (a virtual impossibility with only $200k in revenue) there's no penalty or tax from ACA if they don't provide health care. So Rubio's example was total bullshit.

Diane Rehm left this completely unchallenged. Bald faced lies that don't get challenged become defacto "truth" to so many people.

Shame on you Diane Rehm. If you're going to have people like Rubio on, don't let them get away with this.
