A sexual abuse victim of former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert says he should keep all of the hush money he got from Hastert — because it was the disgraced politician who first revealed their secret arrangement.

In the latest filing for the victim’s breach-of-contract lawsuit, the man says he is entitled to all of the $3.5 million Hastert offered him since he kept his part of their agreement, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Hastert has not only asked to have the lawsuit dismissed, but also to make the victim pay back $1.7 million from their deal.

The victim is one of at least four men who have accused Hastert of assaulting them when they were high school students, and he was working as a teacher and coach in Illinois.
