President Ford said you could impeach a ham sandwich for the crime of being a ham sandwich. Under the Ford Doctrine ("grounds for impeachment" is whatever we say they are) they need to impeach Donald Trump for the crime of being clinically insane and Mike Pence for aiding and abetting.

After that, we can place The Former President Trump Administration - including his entire cabinet, his campaign team and any staffers hired since 1/20/17 - under house arrest in the Winter Palace while we investigate his Russian connections and prosecute as necessary. Four years of Paul Ryan signing budget bills and complaining about not being allowed to tear the country apart won't be a thousandth as bad as what we now face.
