Which is blasphemy for some, but all Bond material was pure camp right from the start. Connery played it straight, and the results were sometimes awful, such as being disguised as a Japanese man, the moon buggy chase, and so on. Moore acknowledged the camp and played the character as that.

"I've lost my charm!"
"Not from where I'm standing."

Brilliant.
