Google updates StreetView about once every couple of years. Better WarDriving databases have been available for a lot of years.

Apple gets a global map of Access Points, SSIDs and AP Vendor data as well as your proximity every 12 hours... And uses your data plan to send it back to them. Who's the bigger dick?
