Then get behind the nominee for the general.
It is weird, my impression of Dean back then was that he was a slightly left of center Dem. AT DU, it was sorta like he was a movie screen some people projected all sorts of liberal/progressive positions on him that he may not have actually held. Anyway lots of water under the bridge since then.
