22. I came out of a store yesterday

It was rainy, and I carried my bags so I didn't have to take a cart back. I was parked pretty far from the store. While I was walking to my car, a truck parked at the end of the same row, and 2 young men who looked Mexican, or maybe Central American, got out and walked toward me. I smiled at them, because I smile at everyone. They came to me, and offered to help me with my bags. I got my car unlocked and the one man took all my bags and put them in the car. I thanked them and they went on to the store. There was no fear, no disrespect, just a tiny second of ideal humanity.
