President Trump on Monday predicted the U.S. would curb North Korea’s nuclear program, days after the rogue nation conducted its latest test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

“We’ll handle North Korea. We’ll be able to handle North Korea. It will be handled. We handle everything,” Trump told reporters during a Cabinet meeting at the White House.

North Korea last Friday launched its second ballistic missile in less than a month, raising grave concerns about Pyongyang’s capabilities to strike the U.S. mainland.

Experts believe the IBCM could potentially hit the U.S. West Coast. American presidents have long vowed to prevent North Korea from gaining such a weapon.
