But it's not the fact that they hire pedophiles which is the problem with the institution. The problem with the institution is that they shield pedophiles. I'm not going to hold a pedophile employee against a church any more than I would against a cable company or a fire department. It happens. But they've got to not act like Joe Paterno here.
