3. I live in the South Bay Area, watching the news for hours every day.

Most of the people who died didn't die because of hesitation. The fire was on them while sleeping or otherwise surrounded by fire and smoke suddenly and could not get out. They didn't stand a chance.

I've lived here all my life and this is the worst disaster here I've ever seen including the 1989 earthquake.

This is absolutely horrendous.
