62. Don't except any real change until

we can break up the Southern bloc of the segregationist, pre-civil rights era of voters and their immediate following generation. Until they go tits up, they'll spread their poison and their right-wing governmental politics and cripple any progressive movement in the country. We've got a younger generation coming up the pipeline that's more liberal, has more tolerance for personal freedom and believes in gay marriage and women's rights; who are weary of foreign entanglements and are more secular and believe more in income equality and who incidentally, will be more diverse. Until then, we're stuck with these old, racist, Christofascist Confederates who will keep electing anyone on a banner of guns, gays, abortion, contraceptives, race and income inequality.
