This mythical ~40% base we keep seeing in every poll seems to actually only exist on the internet and in polls. You do see a few Nazis in the streets on TV, but that is it. I am starting to think his base really is just Russian trolls and the alt-right. The math just does not add up. Voter turn-out was around 50%, that makes around 26% of Americans voting for him. Yet, he always has 40% approval.
