79. Very disappointed with this forum after this reaction

I'm a die hard liberal, but some of the responses in this thread in response to female accusations against Franken are on the same level as the alt-right who dismissed the women coming out against DT and RM.

It doesn't matter if the accusations are different (harassment vs groping), the statements from these women should be taken earnestly if you/we are serious about combating sexual harassment head on.

Step back, take a deep breath, and realize what you are haphazardly dismissing. If this were Bannon, Miller, DT, Sessions, etc, you'd be frothing at the mouth mad. I know I would be, and am with these allegations.

These types of reactions (dismissing the claimant because of political affiliation, "protecting one of our own", blaming the victim, slut shaming, etc) are exactly what has helped harassment stay so ingrained in our society.
